I'm not sure if NiGHTS has a gender or not. I remember that in the original game, these two kids could become NiGHTS when they fell asleep, or something. And they were a boy and a girl... and NiGHTS looks exactly the same whether he/she/it is created from the sleeping consciousness of a boy or of a girl. o.o
